We believe that vaccinations are an important part of keeping your pet healthy but each one of our patients is unique so our team will discuss which vaccines best match your pet's lifestyle. We also offer vaccine titer testing (when titers are high, boosters may not be necessary).
Sick Pet Exams There are times when your pet may be sick or injured and our team will be there for you. Our flexible schedule allows us to accomodate you when you need us! Itchy skin, smelly ears, limping, upset stomach...no problem! Our team can start diagnotics and treatment right away. We offer in-house lab testing, X-ray, ultrasound, fluid support, thermal support and when appropriate, we work in conjunction with specialists to make sure that your pet gets the best care possible.
Laboratory Testing We offer a comprehensive assortment of laboratory services, both in-clinic as well as through our reference lab. We offer in-clinic heartworm testing, feline leukemia and feline AIDS testing and ear and skin cytology. Our reference lab offers full blood and urine panels, stool analysis for parasites, vaccination titers, Rabies FAVN testing for travel outside of the USA...the list is long!
Digital Radiography and Ultrasound We offer state-of-the-art digital radiography! In other words, our X-rays are no longer on flim but are digital instead. That means that your pet gets less radiation exposure and the images are more readily accessed by specialists when necessary. We can also make you a CD of your pet's images! We also offer in-clinic ultrasound by our staff as well as access to a board certified radiologist.
Surgery We offer a variety of routine surgeries such as spay and neuter and mass removals. For your convenience, we work with a mobile surgeon to offer our clients more advanced soft tissue and orthepedic surgery here at our clinic. There are times, however, when surgery or aftercare is beyond what we can safely offer at our clinic and our doctors will refer you and your pet to a surgical specialist.
Dental Cleaning We are believers in dental health! Part of our physcial exam is a thorough examination of the teeth, gums and oral tissues. Dogs and cats suffer from periodontal disease just like people do! Our canine and feline patients often require dental cleaning for optimum dental health. Our dental cleaning is done under anesthesia and includes: complete oral exam and charting, ultrasonic scaling, polishing, dental X-rays (to help us see under the gumline) and fluoride treatment. When periodontal disease is severe or when teeth are broken or fractured teeth may need extraction to prevent further pain and infection. Our staff will review before and after pictures with you, instruct you on how best to provide home dental care for you pet and are available to answer any questions you have about your pet's dental health.
Rehabilitation We are very excited to announce the arrival of our underwater treadmill! Our hydrotreadmill enable pets to get a low-impact but highly aerobic workout. The warm water relaxes tight muscles and soothes achy joints while improving blood flow and facilitating healing. Hydrotherapy helps improve muscle strength and endurance, improve range of motion and decreases pain. We recommend hydrotherapy for pets recovering from knee or hip surgery, pets with arthritis, hip dysplasia, spondylosis, pets that are overweight and need to slim down...the list goes on and on. Schedule a rehabilitation consult and our staff will create a rehab plan that best suits your pets needs!
